Hey FLCA how about a ride back to the Ocala Forest???

It’ll be Saturday Aug. 15th. We’ll start about where we finished last month. Meet at CR 42 and (on some maps) NF 588, and other maps NF 13. Regardless, it’s the road that leads up to Big Bass campground. Again let’s start at 9AM.

For you GPS folks, put in 28 59’ 3”, and 81 47’ 13”. Don’t forget these are in degrees, minutes and seconds.

Like last month, August in Florida will be hot, bring water. And as always, it may rain. As this is the same general area, I would think the trails may be a little tight again.

i just saw the trail ride,but i plan to run with the other club in alpha pit area,we went last saturday and was muddy..lot of rain and we have to use the winches i more than 2 spots to take or rigs out. If i cant enjoy the trip hope you guys have a safe riding and get home on time'...jose lake mary

Is the Saturday 8-15 Ocala ride still on?

There are only two trucks going to Ocala, may find someplace closer to home.

I would like to do some trail riding this weekend...

I live in St. Petersburg. I would like to run some trails with your group someday. Ocala would be nice since its been a few years since I rode there. Also Ocala will be dryer then some of the other trail systems.

It would be a little tight for me to make a ride anywhere this weekend. If I knew you guys were riding in Ocala I was going to try to get off work early tomorrow and get my act together. I give my self a 70% chance of makeing an Ocala run on Saturday. I would hate to have anyone change their plans based on me having a 70% chance of makeing it. If you are having a ride this weekend let me know when and where I will try to make it. If I can not make it this weekend I will keep my eye on the board and make the next ride. Thanks........David

I am also in for 90 plus % if I can find you guys..lol.. How about a quick richloam run.... Is that closer for all??...

Location for meeting is in the first post. If you can't make this one, we'll get another one soon, or perhaps a tech/wrench session.

Well I am reasonably ready to roll tomorrow. There are a couple of things I would have liked to do to my vehicle but it is trail ready. As long as I get some sleep tonight I should be there. We do have a sick kid in the house so that might set me back. I will check the board and make a post before I take off in the morning. If anything changes let me know.
