Florida Land Cruiser Association

I just thought I would throw this out here.


I pay dues to Flca, and get my t-shirt and all that good stuff, but anymore it seems as if the t-shirt is all you get for membership. I know many members that love to take their Cruisers out and wheel them. When it comes time to renew memberships I know many members that will no longre exist. What needs to happen to this club to get everyone motivated? I am a member of a non-club that wheels at least once a month and people drive from all over Fl and Ga to go on a ride. The courses or places are challenging and exciting. Not to mention good company. I would like you guys to just think about it. An Flca member told me the other day "Im not gonna pay whatever dues to be a member of a club that has one event per year....I would rather devote my time and money towards a group of people/friends that actually do things not to mention be willing to give advise and help me when something is broken." Just think about it. I am proud to be a member of a long running LC club, but I dont bother even checking up on the site because I know noone will post anything or even think of maybe going somewhere. I challenge all members who arent familiar with NFCH to go check out the site Nfcruiserheads.org. Maybe you can see that there is something to do other then sit around and look at your cruiser sitting in the garage.

amen! i agree!!! i will not join again unless there is some interest from bod in planning events. does not need to be crazy hardcore stuff. i enjoy company of lc lovers and exchanging stories the non cruiser ppl don't enjoy and have no interest. tt was great last year but i will not go this year cause there is nothing else all year long. everyone i met was very friendly and i looked forward to seeing them again....... but nothing else was planned. one sticker and a hotdog $25??

Sounds like both you cookoos need a fawkin' hug. I give out FREE HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe a big smack on your ass, I prefer the left butt cheek, but it is up to you.

The FLCA is not on it's heels...

I have been out of touch with the club and web site for some time, my problem. I will get this corrected, the members deserve better.

For a start, we'll be doing a day ride in the Ocala Forest on July 18th, more info will be posted later today.

I would like some of the wording of comments not be continued on the site. I know the feeling of joining a group and not getting anything for your commitment. I will do my best to get things going again...

Jake and Will, (whoever the heck you all are) lets keep the joking to a minimum around here, no A&* grabbing jokes, and especially no Geigh comments, NO and I mean NO threats of turning people into camp tramps on the trail ride camp fires. NO picking on ANYONE is allowed, and just for the record, I will get utterly offended if I hear about any more people threatening to steal other peoples wives or girlfriends (it is in-mature, and down right UNFAIR............)

WIth that said, I am glad that you all got someone to speak up. Jerry, Glad to see that you are going to have a trail ride. Not much notice, but I am glad that the attempt is there.

Jake and WIll, I will be issuing demerit's if you all dont behave. You all are very in-mature.

What can I say... I did what I could... Glad things are gonna get up and rolling again.
