Labor Day at Choccolocco mountain

Choccolocco ORV park is in Jacksonville Alabama and is between Atlanta and Birmingham.

It is fairly new and a very nice place. $30 to wheel for a weekend is cheap too! Trails of all types and levels. Camping is rustic and no showers there yet, but town with lodging is only 10 min away.

Labor day weekend the NFC guys and other Florida people plan on being there, me included
No reservations are needed, but it would be nice to get an approximate head count to let the owner know we're coming.

I know some of you are ready for a trip out of state. I know a couple of you have been modifying your rigs with ARB's, 6 shooters, fuel injection etc, etc.
This is the right time and place!

Chocolocco Mountain

I am planning to go, but can you give me more details on what day the group is leaving, where are they meeting and what day are they returning back. Any information is really appreciated.

Luis, Glad you are making the trip!!

I think most are leaving on Thursday, some on Friday.
I'm leaving Thursday.

We don't have detailed plans yet, but so far it looks like we might meet Thursday morning either in Gainesville or Ocala sometime around 9AM.

I will let you all know the plans as they progress.

Plans as of now are to meet Thursday 8AM at the Pilot gas station at SR 326 first exit north of Ocala. There's two Pilot stations at the exit. We'll meet at the one on the south side of the road next to McDonalds.

I figured we better get an early start to make it through Atlanta before rush hour.

Anyone going to meet up for the Thursday convoy?

Peter, one of those attending has volunteered to cook some meals. If you would like to be a part of the meal plan, he is looking for a head count, and will take donations for the food once up there.
