Need help on a 1996 LC

Hey guys, Blew up my 96 a couple of days ago on I 4. It is now in Longwood Fl. I need an engine, 4.5 in line 6. Dont know where to turn and hope you guys will help out with some info. The body is in great shape and shouldnt be crushed. Please feel free to contact me with any advise.

Sorry to hear about the engine...

There are a few members on here that may be able to give you some leads on an engine,

Bummer... Time for a screamin SBC!

But really, what happened to the motor? Not rebuildable, not cost effective?

Be sure to look at IH8MUD and NFC for vehicles being parted out too.

Jerry, Bret, thanks guys. Its my pretty wife's truck. The check engine light has been on for 2 years. Running 70 on I4 and didnt have a clue anything was wrong untill engine fluttered and cut off. never a puff of steam. None of the regular boilovers symptoms. The head is 20-25/1000 out, 2 pistons dont look good. Its cooked. I joined IH8mud looking over there also. Ideas still welcome and thanks again, Fred
