Hello everyone... Vinny here,

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone...

Just bought a 97' 40th Anniversary. I am a member of the TLCA and the Orlando Jeep Club as well as the Florida 4Wheel Drive Association.

I also have a TJ Wrangler a fiance and two dogs - Shadow and Fletch.

Let me know if there is a shop here in Central Florida that can be trusted with a FJ80.

Vinny, there are a bunch of FJ80 in the FLCA. Most are in the Orlando area. They should see your post and give you some info.

Jim E. can tell you how to get stuck while doing anything  , he and Sandra like to put it to good use having fun. Here's some "fun" http://www.flca.org/Meetings/meetfram.htm, and that's Jim in the first photo.

Do you wheel the 80?

I might need to do the front axle rebuild, in the next month or so... Wondering if anyone has done it before...

Other than that, just general things I can ask would help. I have drive other cruisers, but never owned one. So, I wanted to see if I could ask "Should it sound like this or should it shift like that"?

thanks for everyone's help! Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Welcome Vinny, I take my 80 to the Ford Shoppe in Longwood when ever there is a task too big for me to accomplish. My mechanics name is Dennis, he has worked on all my cruisers for years now. If you decide to go tell him Omar sent you. He most recently performed a head job on my 80. His number is 407-478-0887
