Denis (creepin death) and his wife just had a baby!! CONGRATS to Denis and his wife!!! I really hope he can make the trip. How long do you guys want to wait before we decide on a cabin or tent? I'll call this week and see how many they have and if we need to reserve it. Maybe I can reserve it then if its not going to be super cold cancel without being charged. That way we have it if its going to be in the teens or twenties at night. It has 4 beds and room for blow up mattress.

A buddy of mine may be coming up from Ft. Myers to tag along. His truck is able to pull my 40 on a trailer rather than use a dolly behind my 4 runner. I checked uhaul and they want $50 a day to rent. Any suggestions on a cheaper route or do any of you have a trailer I could use for the weekend? Also trying to put some rear lockers in before trip so I can climb a few rocks, any suggestions on that. Thanks, Jake

You could always use his truck and the car dolly. I think a vehicle tows easier, is more stable, and safer on a dolly than a trailer any day. The only disadvantage to the dolly is backing up. Just can't be done.

Steve i trust your judgement any day over mine when it comes to this kinda thing. My thought process was we won't have to undo drive shaft and if an axle was to break or something long those lines trailer it home. Like I said I trust your judgement much better then mine. I'm gonna put the hardtop back on but not ambulance doors so I may need your muscle the WEd. before we leave. Not sure of the mud situation but my inside got coated last time. Jake. 19 more days!!

Rocky- after you get to Georgia drop the trailer off at local uhaul so the don't charge you $50 for each day your not using it, then it will only cost $100. Or look on craigslist and if you find one offer him $100 to try it out over the weekend before you buy it to make sure its what you want. Then return it and let him know it won't work out. He made $100 and you got a trailer for the weekend. Just an idea. Hey.....times are tough.
